FAQ
FAQ
FAQ
Which harnesses is the AK Aerobar Carbon Spreader Bar compatible with?
The spreader bar is compatible with harnesses that have 25 mm or 40 mm webbing slots. This covers most common waist and seat harnesses.
Which size do I need – XS-S or M-L?
XS-S has a width of 25 cm, while M-L is 28 cm. Choose the size that suits your body type and harness so that the bar fits comfortably and does not slip sideways.
What material is the Aerobar Carbon made of?
The spreader bar is made of a one-piece carbon composite. This ensures a stiff, direct power transfer with low weight.
What makes the locking mechanism special?
The locking mechanism is exposed, allowing sand and salt to be rinsed out. This prevents the typical jams that can occur with conventional mechanisms.
Is the AK Aerobar Carbon also suitable for windsurfing?
Yes. The spreader bar is designed for use with kite, windsurf, and wing foil harnesses, as long as your harness has the appropriate webbing slots (25 mm or 40 mm).
Can I simply replace my old spreader bar?
Yes, the Aerobar Carbon can generally be used as a replacement for an existing spreader bar, provided that your harness's webbing slots fit the 25 mm or 40 mm buckles.
What is included in the delivery?
You will receive one AK Spreader Bar Aerobar Carbon in the selected size. No additional accessories are included.
