After two years, it's finally here again: Goya is launching its new range. More vibrant, more mature, still Hawaiian. And above all: Lighter. The longer product cycle not only allows for greater stability in customer perception, but also longer development times for even better performance.

After the classic 5-batten sails, the trend clearly shifted towards fewer battens. 4- and 3-batten sails are now as common as VW vans at the surf beach. But Marcilio Brown wanted a 5-batten sail again? Why? Thanks to new materials and improved production techniques, the compromise of a fifth batten can be made again without a guilty conscience. Additionally, an extra batten provides more stability. The goal was to develop a stable profile to catch even the smallest gust, and also to have a stable sail when atom hacking. Goya calls it the Variowave concept. So, if you surf on inland waters or downwind and are therefore exposed to constantly changing wind strengths, you should take a closer look at the Eclipse Pro, as it is made precisely for such conditions. Or, if the Christmas feast has added a few extra pounds, the more stable sail will get you moving faster. The Eclipse X Pro even has an X-Ply reinforced sail window, which makes it even more durable.

The Eclipse (X) Pro is available in eleven sizes from 3.7 to 6.3 square meters and comes in Fluo Yellow & White in the standard version and in Red & Fluo Yellow in the X-version.
