Armstrong Foils High Aspect

Building on the legacy of our first HA (High Aspect) foils, released in 2021, the new HA range offers an unparalleled combination of ripability, easy pumping, and endless glide, extending the potential of advanced to expert foilers. Seven sizes – 480, 580, 680, 780, 880, 980, 1080, 1180cm2 – provide a whole host of options. The new HA series is the essence of foiling.

A newly developed aerofoil shape, new outline and new profile give the HA series the remarkable ability to carve beautiful lines while staying high in the pump power zone for maximum wave riding potential. The cross section of the profile is gradually adjusted across the entire span (evolutionary cross-section) to increase gliding efficiency and even lift at different angles of inclination and flight speeds. For those who already ride the previous generation of Armstrong HA series, we recommend reducing the foil size, e.g. from the older HA925 to the new HA880, to maintain the usual pumpability with a significant increase in performance.

The HA Series benefits from two years of research with a leading CFD team. These foils turn beautifully and their cross-section is optimized to flow with the wave, allowing fluid connections between wave lines. Thanks to the excellent lift, riders can downsize their previous HA foils by a whole size to improve carving and speed range while maintaining an easy low end.
