AXIS Rear Wing - Progressive

The AXIS Progressive 250/56, 275/58 and 300/61 rear wings are performance wings for advanced riders. They excel at tow foiling, prone/SUP foiling, and wing foiling, ideal in combination with higher performance front wings such as HPS, ART, and PNG wings.

The key features of these new smaller Progressive Rears are higher speeds due to less drag, while still retaining control and able to be pushed to their limits in extreme situations.

Our team riders rave about how well balanced and confidence-inspiring the new small Progressive rears are. The speed, control, turnability and grip are incredible for their size. There is a small drawback in pumpability though, as the size decreases.

So how do you use these new sizes?
James Casey prefers the 275/58 for prone riding in most conditions, while for downwinding he prefers the 300/61.

The 300/61 Progressive turns great but has the added benefit of being more pumpable and predictable. If battling a fast medium-sized wave, the 250/56 is the go-to.  

Our wing foiling team love these small Progressives paired with the largest ARTs, as they improve the turnability of the bigger wings and significantly increase speed.

These new Progressives look tiny, but the higher speeds you achieve on them mean greater stabilising forces that don’t come at the cost of manoeuvrability.
