Compact shape with plenty of volume and width

Compared to our first X-Winger models, the new shapes are a little longer and narrower. The nose rocker has also been made flatter to enable a smooth transition into flight and an easy take-off. The defined edges help to convert the hull surface directly and effectively into lift and to be immediately propelled back into flight during any touch-downs, without losing speed. The outline in the bow area has been designed to be slimmer to reduce the swing weight of the board and improve aerodynamics. The bow area has been made a little thicker to compensate for the loss of volume in the bow area. The concave standing area reduces the distance to the foil and thus offers very direct handling. The tail area has been provided with additional rocker so that the bow area has more clearance from the water surface. This allows more pop during jumps and thus generates additional height. In addition, this feature prevents unwanted contact with the water surface. New cut-outs in the tail area reduce the tail volume and make pumping movements easier when planing to generate sufficient lift over the foil. In the event of unwanted touch-downs, the cut-outs also reduce drag.

Long boxes with continuous PU foam blocks connecting the deck to the hull ensure an extremely stable construction and allow for a large tuning range. The boards are equipped with a PVC sandwich plate in the deck and hull and thus offer a perfect balance of stiffness and low weight in combination with Innegra edge reinforcements. The boards are manufactured in our ultimate Pro technology to ensure the lowest weight.
