Goya Banzai 12 Pro

The Banzai 12 has gained better low-end performance compared to its predecessor. This was made possible by changing the angle of the bottom batten, which created a larger area in the lower section.

The Pro model features a 3-ply material, Bi Ply, in the window. This means that monofilm is laminated on the outside with a UV-stable film in the middle. This makes the material 700% more expensive than "normal" film but significantly more resistant and durable.

The new X-Plx from the USA is stiffer and has 2.5-3 times less stretch than the previous material. This is achieved by a slightly larger distance between the yarns and the lighter film of the laminate.

The leech has been slightly revised, making it now possible to sail even the 5.6m² sail with a 400 mast.
