The difference lies in the more elaborate construction: a lighter, yet denser foam core is used, which absorbs significantly less resin. This means less resin seeps into the pores of the core, enabling a more efficient laminate construction and saving unnecessary weight.

Additionally, the denser structure improves the contact surface for bonding and laminate connections, contributing to a particularly high-quality and precise construction.
