Wingfoils have a shorter fuselage and often a larger front wing. This allows them to get out of the water faster.

In contrast to windsurf foiling, the wing provides slightly less propulsion, but also requires less holding force.

Complete sets often differ in weight. This is due to stable parts like the fuselage and mast, but also to the connection of the surf plate or top plate.

These parts are usually made of aluminum, but are manufactured differently. Especially with large front wings with a size of 1800-2500cm², the construction makes a big difference in terms of weight.

Here you have to decide for yourself where and how you expect to foil. Because it remains clear that the lightest carbon construction is not the best choice if you are practicing in shallow or rocky areas where ground contact cannot be ruled out...
