In contrast to windsurfing, the material can be packed very small and compact, and assembled and disassembled easily and quickly. For kiting, you naturally need a kite with the corresponding bar and a pump for set-up. All of this can ideally be attached to the kite backpack. In addition, we need a kiteboard, which can be a twintip, directional, or bidirectional board, entirely according to your taste. Wetsuit and harness are self-explanatory, but kitesurfers cannot go on the water without a safety leash on their harness, as it is their life insurance in an emergency. 

Another advantage of kiting is that you can cover a larger wind range with one kite, thus requiring less material.
