Description
The Banzai 12 has improved low-end compared to its predecessor. This was made possible by changing the angle of the lower batten, which created a larger area in the lower section.
The Pro model features a 3-layer material in the window, called Bi-Ply. This means that monofilm is laminated on the outside, and a UV-stable film is laminated in the middle. This makes the material 700% more expensive than "normal" film but significantly more durable and hard-wearing.
In the carbon version, the carbon fibers of the laminate are aligned with the direction of pull and stress of the sail. This makes the sail quite stiff and responsive.
The leech has been slightly revised, making it possible to ride even the 5.6 sail with a 400 mast.
