Goya Banzai Max X Pro

Five battens, maximum range, high-end control wave sail. The new Banzai Max Pro is our 5-batten wave sail with extra control and higher top-end speeds.
Handling characteristics: The lift is slightly higher and more centered than the Banzai 11 Pro and Banzai Surf Pro. This provides a lot of drive and power in the lower range but also good control in the upper range. Available in 3.7, 4.0, 4.2, 4.5, 4.7, 5.0, 5.3, 5.5, 5.7, 6.0, 6.3 square meters.

X Pro Construction:
Main window panel: 6 mil X-Ply film consists of a black Ultra-PE fiber that offers high modulus tensile strength and high tear resistance. The fiber configuration allows for maximum fiber performance while integrating into the background. Black yarns are extremely low reflectivity, meaning they absorb all light and disappear when looking through the sail.

Upper window panels: 5 mil Dimension-Polyant Polyester X-PLY® models are for reduced stretch and increased tear resistance

Upper body color panels: 2.5 mil Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester fabric plus X-PLY® designed for lighter weight while maintaining the reduced stretch of a traditional X-PLY ® product.
Foot/Adhesive area: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an improved lay-up with larger denier fibers, but still with the high-strength Aramid X-PLY ®. It has much greater tear and puncture resistance at the highest loads of pure wave riding. Carbon Stretch Control Tapes are made from pre-tensioned carbon fiber bundles for low stretch and no crimping. An improved PSA adhesive allows for aggressive tackiness. The use of these tapes allows for lighter and more efficient patching and sail reinforcement. Double stitching around the main window. Dacron Leech edge reinforcement. Folded trailing edge at the mast sleeve to prevent fraying.
