gives the sail easier handling, but still with excellent power and control.
Handling characteristics: A shorter boom length across all sizes creates a higher aspect ratio sail for better control and stability in maneuvers. Overall improved handling and a more efficient, lighter sail feel. Available in 5.4, 5.8, 6.2, 6.6, 7.2, 7.8, 8.5 square meters. Basic Construction, Bi-Ply Window, Monofilm Panels.

X Construction:

Main Window Panel: 6 mil X-Ply Film is made of an Ultra-PE fiber, which provides high modulus stretch resistance and high tear strength. The fiber configuration allows for maximum fiber performance while blending into the background.

Upper Window Panels: 5 mil Dimension-Polyant Polyester X-PLY ® models are for reduced stretch and increased tear strength.
Upper Body Panels: 5 mil Dimension-Polyant Polyester X-PLY ® models are for reduced stretch and increased tear strength.

Foot/Base Panel: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an improved lay-up with larger denier fibers, while still using the high-strength Aramid X-PLY ®. It has much higher tear and puncture resistance.
Carbon Stretch Control Tapes are made from pre-tensioned carbon fiber bundles for low stretch and no creasing. An improved PSA adhesive allows for aggressive tackiness. The use of these tapes allows for lighter and more efficient patching and sail reinforcement. Double stitching around the main window. Dacron Leech edge reinforcement. Folded trailing edge at the mast pocket to prevent fraying.
