The name, by the way, comes from the French voler, "to fly." With many footstrap options, the Volar offers both beginners and advanced windsurfers the opportunity to fully enjoy the sport. The board is fast, stable, and accelerates in the lightest breeze. Each size has been individually designed and shaped to provide the same riding feel across all board sizes. Very jibe-friendly. The smoother bottom curve on the smaller boards provides more control on choppier days with gusty conditions. Here too, as with the Carrera Carbon, the volume has been moved further back into the tail, making the outlines more parallel for higher top speeds and more control. It also glides through jibes more easily.
