MORE LIGHTNESS AND SPORTINESS
JP's popular and successful board line, positioned at the center of the freeride class, now comes in four completely new shapes!
JP presents the third generation of Super Ride boards for 2025, as designer Werner Gnigler saw the chance to make these great all-rounders even better. His main goal was to make the boards even more accessible and comfortable to ride in a wider range of conditions, while also raising the performance level. The good news is that this further development of the "SR" line has not changed the boards' main characteristics, so you will find all their familiar qualities: super balanced freeride boards, light, sporty and fast, and - last but not least - great gybing machines that offer a "Super Ride".
The second generation of Super Ride boards has been around for four years now - since 2021. They delight riders around the globe with all the virtues and advantages of true all-rounders with almost flawless handling and performance.
What did Werner do to make them better?
He updated the basic shape dimensions by slightly increasing the tail and overall width.
WIDER.
For example, the new Super Rider 125 is one cm wider overall and two cm wider in the tail area compared to the 2024 SR 124. This creates a more stable platform with a larger planing surface which, together with the new efficient rocker line, improves the ease of early planing. The reduced drag and improved efficiency allow it to plane at a higher water level, providing a smoother ride. Rough, choppy conditions do not affect control or the dampened ride. Better control allows for more speed.
NEW RAIL SHAPE
This has a slightly higher apex, which generates more lift. This is particularly noticeable in fast turns, where this new shape maintains speed and allows you to exit gybes in full planing mode. Control and stability are paramount, allowing you to execute gybes with confidence and making these boards true gybing machines. The rail shape ensures a very smooth deck radius and guarantees a comfortable stance, whether you use the inner footstrap option or the performance setup closer to the rail. Sharper edges towards the tail ensure control and a turbulence-free, efficient water release to maximize your speed and agility.
The OUTLINE towards the nose has been designed to be more streamlined.
FIN
The molded RIDE fins of the ES boards remain unchanged, while the Tuttlebox CNC G10 RIDE fins of the Wood Pro models are different and completely new, available in sizes 38, 40, 42 and 44. Compared to the previous versions, these fins have a new, more uniform outline, which is particularly noticeable at the trailing edge. This results in a shorter chord length and thus less drag, leading to higher speeds and a lighter feel at high speed.
This new G10 fin supports the performance of the new Super Ride boards while improving usability and overall character.
