The new X-Base finally puts an end to the annoying fumbling when mounting and dismounting your baseplate - before and after each session. The painful loosening of an overtightened base with cold, wet hands is a thing of the past.

The X-Base connects to your board via two screws with T-nuts - for a solid, play-free fixation and precise, smooth adjustability, without the risk of slipping. Thanks to the removable Tendon and Pin unit, the base can be detached in seconds. The small screw spacing guarantees full function even on boards with short mast tracks. Our engineers have worked hard to achieve the lowest overall height on the market. The result: an ultra-flat low-profile design that minimizes the gap between sail and board and also takes up less space in the boardbag. "Close the Gap". The rust-free dual U-pin made of stainless steel resists sand, salt, and dirt and allows the base to be separated or joined in seconds. The Tendon-Cup and Pin unit consist of a solid stainless steel component that offers absolute safety even under extreme loads.

A clever detail: In the UXT version, an integrated Torx T30 key is built into the pin head. This means you always have your tool with you. The T-nut screws on the base naturally come with T30 screw heads. Fins, vent screws, or foot straps of all newer JP boards have also been converted to T-30. The Tendon Joint is made of a new high-tech material that is approximately 50% tougher and more durable than conventional black compounds and features an easily replaceable tendon cord and safety rope made of highly tear-resistant UHMWPE.
