HD stands for Heavy Duty. The new HD RACE SDM has an adjustment range of 36 cm for better compatibility with our wave sail range. We analyzed the need for more reliable tubes over this extended length and tested a variety of aluminum specifications. We opted for a 33% thicker wall and a larger outer diameter to ensure ultimate durability against bending and breaking.
