Description
The Severne Apex SDM has a Constantcurve bend and a carbon content of 90%.
The Standard Diameter Mast tapers in the middle section by up to 15% compared to the standard diameter, allowing for a thicker wall. This thicker wall ultimately results in significantly increased durability of the mast.
To emphasize the importance of a suitable mast, Ben Severne (chief designer) explains in an interview that he first develops the mast and then designs the corresponding sail.
