The Downwinder Air is the travel-friendly and scratch-resistant version

The stretched pin-tail design ensures efficient gliding, instant acceleration and take-off speed. Compared to our Sky Air models, the Downwinder Air models are reduced in weight and features, so that the weight of the boards matches that of their composite siblings. This makes them easy to paddle for SUP downwinders and incredibly efficient for wing foiling in light wind. We offer three dedicated shapes in 6'10" × 20" (105l), 7'4" × 21" (115l) and 7'10" × 22.5" (125l).

The rocker line has been tested in a spectrum of conditions ranging from flat water to heavy swells and has proven to be exceptionally adaptable and reliable.
The high stiffness is achieved through Light Fusion Technology and our solid carbon plate, meaning there is hardly any distortion in the board's shape. Pumping through flat sections is astonishingly easy with the Downwinder Air, making it a true alternative to our high-end composite models if you don't have the car, space, or budget for the Downwinder SLS - or simply want to travel light.
