Duotone Fuselage Aero AL 3BS

Building on the positive feedback we received for our 60cm Alu 3BS Fuselage, we decided to extend these improvements to our longer fuselages. We now have 66cm and 74cm AL 3BS Fuselages, which replace our previous 68cm and 78cm carbon fuselages. The switch to aluminum allows us to reduce the cross-section of the fuselage, thereby decreasing the drag generated by the fuselage. At the same time, we increase strength while only increasing weight by 2.5%. All our AL 3BS fuselages feature a small recess at the back where the stabilizer slots in, improving hydrodynamics. They have large cut-outs where the front wing is attached to minimize weight. Of course, the new aluminum fuselages require a little more care and must be disassembled and rinsed with fresh water after each use, but we believe the performance gain is worth it!
