Severne Metal Boom

The Severne Metal Boom has been updated for 2019. Not only has the design changed, but also a few small but fine details (see also the Surfshop Fehmarn YouTube video). It is a lightweight boom, made of T8 aluminum, constructed in monocoque design, which is intended to appeal particularly to lighter riders. All sizes are equipped with only a 26 cm tube diameter, making them perfect for smaller hands and more relaxed, longer surfing. The "Lockjaw" is a specially designed boom head, with a wide T-piece and a large-area counter-mount. This, together with a rubber coating, ensures bomb-proof grip. There are also two rubber buffers at the front end to absorb shocks and falls. The lever is very large and therefore easy to operate. The tailpiece is also a proprietary design and features a practical "Loop-to-Loop" function. The grip is made entirely from one piece of EVA, so nothing can come loose here.

The two smaller sizes, 140-190 cm and 150-200 cm, are equipped with an RDM boom head and have a wave design, meaning they are narrow-cut.

The sizes 160-210 cm and 170-220 cm are designed as freeride booms, slightly wider, and have an SDM boom head.
