Five battens, maximum range, high-end control wave sail. The new Banzai Max Pro is our 5-batten wave sail with extra control and higher top-end speeds.
Handling characteristics: The lift is slightly higher and more centered than the Banzai 11 Pro and Banzai Surf Pro. This provides a lot of drive and power in the lower range but also good control in the upper range. Available in 3.7, 4.0, 4.2, 4.5, 4.7, 5.0, 5.3, 5.5, 5.7, 6.0, 6.3 square meters.

Pro construction:
Main window pane: 6 mil Bi-PLY from Dimension Polyant consists of two 3 mil layers of PET film. This creates a softer feel, improved flexibility, and reduced creasing. The UV inhibitors in the adhesive increase the product's lifespan compared to conventional monofilm.

Upper window areas: High-quality 4 mil Monofilm from Dimension Polyant.
Upper colored body panels: 2.5 mil Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus X-PLY ® designed for lighter weight while maintaining the stretch of a traditional X-PLY ® product.
Foot/Adhesive surface: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an improved lay-up with larger denier fibers, but still with the high-strength Aramid X-PLY ®. It has much greater tear and puncture resistance at the highest loads of pure wave riding. Carbon Stretch Control Tapes are made from pre-tensioned carbon fiber bundles for low stretch and no crimping. An improved PSA adhesive ensures aggressive tack. The use of these tapes allows for lighter and more efficient patching and sail reinforcement. Double stitching around the main window. Dacron Leech edge reinforcement. Folded trailing edge at the mast sleeve to prevent fraying.
