Goya Banzai Surf Iris Carbon

Maneuver-oriented four-batten wave sail. The focus is on maximum maneuverability and control. You have the freedom to draw your own lines on the wave and surf exactly how you want. Handling Characteristics: The Banzai Surf Pro has a slightly shorter boom compared to the Banzai 11 Pro and Banzai Max, which, combined with the lower and more centered draft, gives you a balanced neutral feel for maximum control and maneuverability. This also makes the sail feel super light in your hand and gives you full control when wave riding. The power is never too much or too little, but always there when you need it.

Carbon Construction:
Main window panel: 6 mil Bi-PLY from Dimension Polyant consists of two 3 mil layers of PET film. This creates a softer feel, improved flexibility, and reduced creasing. The UV inhibitors in the adhesive increase the lifespan of the product compared to conventional monofilm.

Upper window areas: High-quality 4 mil monofilm from Dimension Polyant.

Upper colored body panels: 1.5 mil Ultra low stretch linear Warp Carbon fiber laminate yarns, arranged to control load lines in the sail, combined with super strong Technora Aramid X-Ply. Warp Carbon provides incredible linear control of the sail profile while allowing dynamic, pre-stressed stretch and return. This makes the sails very quiet, weightless, and very durable.

Lower body color panels: 2.5 mil Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus X-PLY ®, designed for lighter weight while retaining the stretch of a traditional X-PLY ® product.

Foot/tack area: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an improved weave with larger denier fibers, but still with the high-strength Aramid X-PLY ®. It has much greater tear and puncture resistance under the highest loads of pure wave riding. Double stitching around the main window. Dacron leech edge reinforcement. Folded trailing edge at the mast pocket to prevent fraying.
