Description
Description
The Alloy System was developed to enable riders of all skill levels to enjoy endless experiences on the water. Its modularity, broad range of performance, and exceptional build quality allow riders to progress without limitations.
Modularity is at the core of the Alloy System design. It is fully compatible with all our front foils and stabilizers, allowing your setup to grow with your riding technique. Building on the knowledge and technology that led to our industry-leading carbon performance mast, the shape and structure of the AA mast are optimized from top to bottom to ensure an excellent balance between efficiency and strength. This design approach and attention to detail are evident in the specially machined mast tip and SailGP-inspired bottom bracket, both made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloys.
The system is exclusively equipped with high-quality titanium and surgical stainless steel hardware, ensuring a lightweight, highly corrosion-resistant setup that remains durable over time. Industry-leading manufacturing tolerances ensure high performance, excellent fit, and finish.
Details:
- Hexagonal fuselage shape: Inherently strong, stiff, and modular for easy front foil swaps.
- Mast section: 17.5 mm thick, efficient in the water, and strong enough to withstand the demands of advanced riding.
- Aerospace-grade 6061 and 7075 alloys: Excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
- Titanium and stainless steel hardware: Prevents frequent disassembly, making the setup easy to use and maintain while offering excellent corrosion resistance. Screws are custom-made M7 and M8 x 1.25.
FAQ
FAQ
FAQ
Who is the Armstrong Aluminum Fuselage 65 cm suitable for?
The 65 cm fuselage from the Alloy System is aimed at riders of all skill levels who are looking for a versatile, modular foil setup for wing foiling, kite foiling, surfing, and SUP foiling.
Which masts is the Alloy Fuselage compatible with?
The Alloy Fuselage is designed for use with the S1 aluminum mast (AA Mast) and is connected to the mast via the proprietary bottom bracket. Use with carbon masts is not intended.
Is the Alloy Fuselage compatible with all Armstrong front foils and stabilizers?
Yes, the mounts for the front foil and stabilizer are identical to those of the Titanium Core Fuselage, so all Armstrong front foils and stabilizers can be combined.
What are the differences between the 65 cm and 75 cm fuselage?
The 65 cm version is slightly shorter and therefore more agile, while the 75 cm version offers more stability and a longer lever arm. The choice depends on your riding style, weight, and front wing size.
Is mounting hardware included?
The required titanium and stainless steel hardware set is not included with the fuselage and must be purchased separately.
What material is the Armstrong Aluminum Fuselage made of?
The fuselage is made of an aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum alloy, with components made of 7075 alloy in highly stressed areas, resulting in a very good strength-to-weight ratio.
How do I properly care for the Alloy Fuselage?
After use in salt water, it is recommended to rinse the fuselage with fresh water to prevent corrosion. Thanks to the titanium and surgical stainless steel accessories, disassembly for maintenance is rarely necessary.
