Ascan Base Boge Mast Foot

FAQ

Which boards is the Ascan Base Boge mast base suitable for?

Thanks to the M8 threaded stud and included groove nut, the Ascan Base Boge fits all common mast base rails and is compatible with the fin box systems of many board brands such as F2, Mistral, HiFly, Fanatic, and Tabou.

What type of joint does the mast base have, and what are the benefits?

The mast base uses the original Boge Powerjoint (Boge Joint) with a 10 mm threaded stud. The joint allows the mast to deflect in a controlled manner during hard impacts, thereby protecting the rig and the board.

How is the mast base attached to the board?

Attachment requires no tools: The groove nut is inserted into the mast base rail, and the Ascan Base Boge is securely fixed by turning the plate disc.

Is there a safety system?

Yes, the mast base features a rubber joint safety strap. Should the rubber break, you can still continue surfing safely thanks to the Euro-pin system.

Can I also use the mast base for a windSUP?

Yes, the Ascan Base Boge is suitable for both classic windsurf boards and windSUPs with a compatible mast base rail.

Which masts can I use with the mast base?

The Ascan Base Boge is equipped with the original Boge Powerjoint and is therefore suitable for all windsurf masts with a corresponding 10 mm Powerjoint adapter.

How do I properly care for the mast base?

Rinse the mast base with fresh water after every session and regularly check the condition of the joint rubber and the screws to ensure that the clamping remains securely fastened at all times.
