Description
The Banzai Max is the 5-batten version of its well-known brother, the Banzai. While the mast and boom lengths are very similar, the Max has more power and a wider range of use thanks to its fifth batten.
The materials are the same as the Banzai Pro.
In the carbon version, the carbon fibers of the laminate are aligned with the direction of tension and stress on the sail. This makes the sail quite stiff and responsive.
The Pro model features a 3-layer material, Bi Ply, in the window. This means that Monofilm is laminated on the outside and a UV-stable film in the middle. This makes the material 700% more expensive than "normal" film but significantly more resistant and durable.
