What is the Boom Tail Fitting XA/XF for?

The Boom Tail Fitting is the end piece that is mounted on the rear end of the NeilPryde XA or XF boom. It ensures a clean finish and the correct attachment of the sail at the boom end.

For which booms is the part suitable?

The fitting is specially designed for the NeilPryde Boom models XA and XF and therefore only fits these series.

What is included?

The delivery includes the blue end piece made of durable plastic as well as the matching fastening material in the form of rivets, so that the replacement can be carried out directly.

How is the Tail Fitting mounted?

The old end piece is removed and the new Tail Fitting is fixed to the boom end with the supplied rivets. A rivet pliers is recommended to complete the installation neatly.

When should the Boom Tail Fitting be replaced?

Replacement is advisable if the end piece shows cracks, has become brittle, or the rivet connection at the boom end is no longer tight.

Is the spare part also usable for other NeilPryde models?

According to the manufacturer, the fitting is only intended for the XA and XF boom series. For other NeilPryde booms, the respective original spare part should be used.
