Description

Caas masts have been developed and produced in Slovenia for over 20 years, using high-quality carbon construction. Only materials from GRP sheathing (carbon, glass, or aramid) are used (dry process). These are then cured under heat and vacuum using autoclave technology.

The Powerwave RDM C 75 mast uses 75% carbon fibers and 25% glass fibers. These promise very high restoring forces, combined with a very good weight-to-stability ratio. A very versatile mast that appeals to a wide audience, as it is also very attractively priced. A perennial favorite.

Application: Freestyle, Wave, Freeride

Lengths: 340, 370, 400, 430, 460, 490

FAQ

FAQ

Who is the Caas Powerwave 75 RDM mast suitable for?

The Caas Powerwave 75 is a versatile all-round mast for freestyle, wave, and freeride. Thanks to its balanced ratio of stiffness, snapback, and weight, it is equally suitable for ambitious beginners, intermediates, and professionals.

What bend curve does the Caas Powerwave 75 have?

The Caas Powerwave 75 is manufactured with a Constant Curve (CC) bend curve, which is compatible with most modern wave and freeride sails. Other bend curves are available directly from the manufacturer upon request.

In which lengths is the Caas Powerwave 75 available?

The Caas Powerwave 75 RDM is available in six lengths: 340, 370, 400, 430, 460, and 490 cm. This covers sail sizes from small wave sails to large freeride sails.

What does RDM mean and why is it important for the Powerwave 75?

RDM stands for Reduced Diameter Mast, meaning a reduced mast diameter. The slimmer diameter provides more flex and a more direct feel, which is particularly advantageous in the wave and freestyle sectors and makes the mast significantly lighter.

How much carbon is used in the Caas Powerwave 75?

The Caas Powerwave 75 consists of 75 percent carbon fibers and 25 percent glass fibers. This combination offers high snapback at an attractive price-performance ratio.

Where is the Caas Powerwave 75 manufactured?

The Caas Powerwave 75 is manufactured in Slovenia using high-quality carbon construction in the dry process and cured under heat and vacuum using autoclave technology. Caas has been producing windsurf masts there for over 20 years.

Is the Caas Powerwave 75 compatible with my sail?

The mast in Constant Curve is compatible with most current sails with a CC bend curve from the wave and freeride segments. Check the IMCS hardness recommended by the sail manufacturer before purchase to choose the appropriate length and hardness.

How do I properly care for and transport my Caas Powerwave 75?

Rinse the mast with fresh water after every session and let it dry before storing it. For safe transport, we recommend a padded mast bag to prevent scratches and damage to the carbon surface.
