In which sizes is the board available?

The Starboard CARVE Wood Sandwich 2026 is available in volumes of 109, 119, 129, 139, 149 and 159 litres. This covers a wide range of rider weights and areas of use.

What construction does the Wood Sandwich have?

The Wood Sandwich features a full-surface wood sandwich lamination with 0.6 mm Australian pine. It provides a good strength-to-weight ratio, a natural flex, as well as more comfort and control on the water.

Which fin box and which fin are installed?

The board is equipped with a Tuttle box. Depending on the size, a Drake Freeride Power fin in 36, 38, 40, 44 or 46 cm length is used, which is factory-matched to the respective board.

What sail range is suitable for the CARVE Wood Sandwich 2026?

The recommended sail sizes range depending on the board volume from 4.5–7.5 m² (109 L) to 6.0–9.0 m² (149 L and 159 L). This allows the board to be ridden in a wide wind range.

How light is the board?

The weight in the Wood Sandwich construction lies between 7.1 kg (109 L) and 8.9 kg (159 L) depending on the size. This makes the Wood Sandwich version the lightest construction in the CARVE range.

What comfort features does the CARVE 2026 offer?

On board, 10 mm thick footpads with a grooved profile provide good grip, new ergonomic pads with toe support and a cushioning comfort layer for more control, and the recessed deck for a lower center of gravity and more drive.

What is included in the delivery?

The delivery includes the board, the matching Drake Freeride Power fin as well as foot straps with mounting screws. Mast, mast base, sail and sheets must be purchased separately.
