The brand new Chinook Sailing 1-Bolt Pro Flex Mast Base Euro-Pin EX offers all the benefits of a tendon base with the added features of a mechanical base.
*** Designed specifically for foiling (not recommended for bump and jump, slalom or formula racing. If used as such, warranty is null and void)***
- Uses a shorter Proflex Chinook tendon for easy maintenance.
- Free-moving mechanical hinge allows for easy attachment for larger or wider foil boards, formula and long boards, etc.
- Foil boards eliminate the probable hood flipping over during attachment or water starts.
- The mechanical joint eliminates an estimated 75-80% of fatigue caused by constant tendon bending.
- Made from cast 316 stainless steel like our other Europin bases, so it's extremely durable and has the distinctive look of polished steel.
- Available in 1-Bolt, 2-Bolt Euro-Pin Base and US Base Cup versions!
