Thanks to innovative sandwich construction with PMMI foam stringers, they are stiffer, lighter, and more aerodynamic than ever before – ideal for riders who want to save every gram and expect maximum efficiency. Their profile tapers downwards to minimize drag with less depth – for smooth power transfer, maximum glide energy, and ultimate control even at top speed. The integrated, seamless mast base allows for direct, immediate power transfer with minimal weight.
74 - The 74cm carbon mast offers maximum control in waves and quick reactions in freestyle maneuvers. Ideal for choppy waters or shallower conditions.
82 - At 82cm long, this carbon mast is the all-rounder of the range – enough height for clean turns and speed, while being stable and precise in a variety of conditions.
90 - The longest carbon mast delivers maximum height and smooth running for high speeds, big waves, and open waters – perfect for experienced riders with performance demands.
The carbon construction not only allowed for a reduction in profile width but also for a shallower depth towards the fuselage. The sandwich construction with stringers in the PMMI foam ensures exceptional stiffness.
No compromises were made on the mast base either. It is directly connected to the mast and formed in one piece. Seamless transitions ensure immediate direct power transfer and the lowest possible weight.
All CFS components are 100% compatible with each other and freely combinable.

What lengths are available, and which one should I choose?
The mast is available in 74 cm, 82 cm, and 90 cm. The 74 cm offers maximum control in the waves and quick response for freestyle, the 82 cm is the all-rounder, and the 90 cm provides maximum height and smooth running for speed, big waves, and open water.
What material is the mast made of?
The mast is made entirely of carbon and features a sandwich construction with a PMMI foam stringer. This makes it particularly stiff, lightweight, and hydrodynamically efficient.
What is included with the mast?
The delivery includes the carbon mast, the perfectly fitting CFS cover, and the complete screw set: 4× M8×25 (V4A), 4× slot nuts (V4A), 2× M8×25 (TC4), and 2× M8 barrel nuts (TC4).
Is the mast compatible with other foils?
The CFS Carbon Mast is part of the Core CFS (Compatible Foil System). All CFS components are 100 percent compatible with each other and can be freely combined with front wings, stabilizers, and fuselage sections from the CFS range.
How is the mast protected against damage during transport?
Each mast comes with a perfectly fitting CFS cover. It features a high-quality zipper, a soft fleece interior, and reinforced PVC zones that protect your foil from sand, impacts, and movement during transport. An integrated pocket keeps screws and accessories close at hand.
What skill level is the carbon mast suitable for?

How do you properly care for and store the carbon mast?
After sessions, rinse the mast in salt water, then with fresh water, dry it, and store it in the included CFS cover. This protects the surface, edges, and mast base from UV radiation, impacts, and moisture.
