The Choice 7 is the sportiest twintip in the Core range and is aimed at ambitious riders who focus on big air and freestyle. It rewards an active, powerful riding style with maximum load, explosive release, and full control – even at speed and during hard landings.

In what sizes is the Core Choice 7 available?

The Choice 7 is available in five sizes: 134x40.5 | 136x41 | 138x41.5 | 140x42 | 142x42.5. The shape and rocker are size-specific – the smaller sizes 134/136/138 focus on big air, maximum edge grip, and explosive pop, while the 140/142 are additionally designed for unhooked freestyle with a stiffer flex and more elliptical outline.

What is new with the Core Choice 7 compared to its predecessor?

The Choice 7 is the first to feature the new CARTAN Triax carbon fiber composite: 30° carbon layers are combined with a unidirectional 0° carbon layer. This significantly increases the snapback and rebound frequency, making the response sportier and the handling more precise. At the same time, the board is around 200 g lighter than the Choice 6.

Which features give the Choice 7 maximum pop and grip?

The combination is made possible by the 1.5 mm dome deck with a continuous mono-concave, the 7° beveled deck, the Paulownia light wood core with Unibody Edge Light (complete torsion box), rail channels with an automatic 7° fin angle, angled fins, and the multi-channel bottom with a center bulge. The VEE rocker line has also been newly tuned for faster response and higher rebound.

What is included with the Core Choice 7?

The delivery includes the kiteboard in the selected size, a fin set (choice of EQ, EQ Pro, or Orca Pro – depending on your selection), and a grab handle (Grab Handle 5, EQ Grab Handle, or REVO Handle). Pads and straps are available separately, e.g., the Union Pro Pads & Straps.

How do you properly care for and store the Core Choice 7?

After sessions in salt water, rinse the board with fresh water, let it air dry, and store it protected from direct sunlight. Regularly check the edges, fins, and grab handle for damage to ensure that performance and safety are permanently maintained.
