What materials are used in the CORE ERA?

The board features a lightweight paulownia wood core, an innovative basalt fabric layer made from volcanic rock, and GreenPoxy 33 epoxy resin, which consists of 35 percent plant-based molecules.

What sizes is the CORE ERA available in?

The CORE ERA is available in several sizes from 134x40 to 152x48 cm; additionally, there is the light-wind version ERA LW in 154x46 and 159x47 cm. This means you can find the right size for every weight and wind range.

What does board only mean in this offer?

The board only version includes only the board without fins, grab handle, pads, and straps. These accessories, such as the EQ Fin Set, REVO Grab Handle, or Union / Ultra Pads & Straps, can be added separately.

How does the CORE ERA perform in choppy water and waves?

Thanks to the notably wide center keel, curved channels, and parabolic outline, the ERA runs very smoothly in chop, offers good upwind performance, and reduces spray when carving.

Which pads and straps fit the CORE ERA?

According to CORE, the Union Comfort Pads & Straps (One Size), Union Pro Pads & Straps (M/L), and Ultra Pads & Straps (M/L) are compatible. No boots are intended for this model – using it with boots voids the warranty.

How sustainably is the CORE ERA produced?

The board combines basalt fibers with GreenPoxy 33 plant-based resin. Both energy consumption and CO2 emissions in the production of basalt fibers are significantly lower than those of glass and carbon fibers.

How do you properly care for and store the CORE ERA?

Rinse the board with fresh water after every session, avoid direct sunlight when storing it, and regularly check the fin inserts and wood core for damage. CORE guarantees spare parts availability for 6 years.
