REVO
Revolutionary Grab Handle
The Revo is an absolute innovation in the twintip sector. Change the riding characteristics of your twintip with a single movement while riding and adapt your board to the conditions and riding needs at any time.
Upwind weapon in an instant
By turning the board handle by one-third, you activate the REVO: the rocker is reduced by about 15 millimeters, making the bottom curve flatter. The flex is also reduced – making the board stiffer overall. This leads to a significant increase in planing and upwind performance.
Activation and deactivation “on the fly”
When activated, the rail has water contact over a greater length, which significantly increases grip. This can also lead to an increase in jumping performance in medium wind ranges. Have you gained enough height and want to ride the Imperator in its original form? Simply turn the REVO back and it is deactivated. After the session and during breaks, always deactivate the REVO to relieve stress.
Ideal for the Imperator 7, great on all LW-Boards
The REVO is fully compatible with the Imperator, Imperator LW and all CORE Twintips. It shows its strengths especially on boards with more intense bending in the middle, which applies in particular to the Imperator 7, the CORE Fusion 5 and the CORE Choice 4 (Pro Rocker). The shapes of the Imperator 7 LW and Fusion 5 LW have been optimized so that the REVO has an even stronger effect on rocker and flex.
Scope of delivery: Pre-assembled M6x20 stainless steel screws (Torx) for use on the Imperator 7. Additional set of M6x18 stainless steel screws (Phillips head) for use on the Fusion 5 and Choice 4. (The different screw lengths are necessary due to the minimally deeper inserts on the Imperator.)
FAQ
FAQ
FAQ
What is the CORE Grab Handle REVO and what is it used for?
The CORE Grab Handle REVO is an innovative twintip handle that allows you to change your board's handling during a ride with a simple twist – for more upwind performance and better grip when needed.
How do I activate the REVO Grab Handle?
You activate the REVO by simply turning the handle one-third of a turn. This reduces the rocker by around 15 millimeters, flattens the bottom curve, and reduces flex – making the board noticeably stiffer and more glide-friendly.
Which CORE boards is the REVO Handle suitable for?
The REVO is fully compatible with the CORE Imperator, Imperator LW, and all CORE twintips. It shows particularly strong effects on the Imperator 7, Fusion 5, and Choice 4 (Pro Rocker).
What does the REVO offer in its activated state?
In its activated state, the rail has water contact over a greater length, which significantly increases grip. In medium wind conditions, this can also improve jump performance. Turning it back deactivates the REVO and restores the original board handling.
What is included in the delivery of the CORE REVO Grab Handle?
The delivery includes pre-assembled M6x20 stainless steel screws (Torx) for use on the Imperator 7, as well as an additional set of M6x18 stainless steel screws (Phillips head) for the Fusion 5 and Choice 4 – the different lengths compensate for the slightly deeper inserts on the Imperator.
What do I need to consider with the REVO after a session or during breaks?
After a kite session and during longer breaks, you should always deactivate the REVO to relieve the mechanism and maintain the longevity of the system.
Is the CORE REVO Grab Handle only suitable for advanced riders?
The REVO is intuitive to use and is basically usable for all skill levels. Riders who want to flexibly adapt their twintip setup to changing wind and wave conditions will benefit particularly.
