With all this experience, the Fehmarn-based company has now developed a completely new, state-of-the-art lightwind kite that particularly increases the fun factor when the wind drops. For relaxed lightwind cruising, freestyling or even serious big air - the Air is ready.
CORE's completely new Air combines the power of a stretched shape with the agility of a 3-strutter. This positions it exactly between the XR LW and the Nexus LW. Made from the proven ExoTex 2 material and equipped with a fixed bridle, the Air combines outstanding low-end performance with high riding comfort and surprises with its agility and direct steering in this size class.
The more refined leading edge and smaller tip area compared to the Pace allow for effortless relaunch, while its enormous wind range makes it the ideal choice for both beginners and advanced riders. Easy to fly and robustly built for long lightwind fun, the Air sets a new standard for accessible lightwind performance with guaranteed progression.
Please note that the Air may only be flown with the Sensor 4! In contrast to the Sensor 3S and older Sensor models, ONLY the Sensor 4 with its new SFS+ Safety ensures a complete depower of models with fixed bridles.

Who is the Core Air kite suitable for?
The Core Air is designed as a light-wind all-rounder and is aimed at both beginners and advanced riders. Thanks to its enormous wind range and easy, agile handling, it is suitable for both relaxed light-wind sessions and freestyle and serious big air.
From what wind speed can I kite with the Core Air 17?
The Core Air 17 is designed for light wind and covers a wind range of 2.5 to 5 Bft, or approximately 7 to 19 knots, according to the manufacturer. This allows you to get a full session out of weak days on the North and Baltic Seas.
Which bar can I use with the Core Air?
The Core Air is exclusively compatible with the Sensor 4, Sensor 4 Pro, Sensor 4S, and Sensor 4S Pro. It must not be flown with the Sensor 3S or older Sensor models, as only the Sensor 4 with its SFS+ safety ensures a full deflation with fixed bridles.
What is included in the delivery of the Core Air?
The delivery includes the kite itself, a comfortable backpack, an instruction manual, and a repair kit. The bar is not included and must be purchased separately.
How does the Core Air differ from the XR LW and Nexus LW?
The Core Air combines the power of a stretched shape with the agility of a 3-struter and positions itself exactly between the XR LW and the Nexus LW. Compared to the Pace, the leading edge has been more refined and the tip area reduced, which noticeably facilitates relaunch and handling.
What materials and features does the Core Air come with?
The canopy is equipped with an ExoTex 2 leading edge, lightweight ExoTex Light struts, and a CoreTex 2 canopy. The fixed Tectanium bridle ensures an optimally supported arch. In addition, it features instant relaunch, the Speed Pump System, and Core's 6 Years Parts Guarantee.
How do I properly care for and store my Core Air?
Dry the kite after every session before storing it in the included backpack, and store it in a dry place protected from direct sunlight. You can repair minor damage to the canopy or leading edge yourself with the included repair kit. Core also guarantees worldwide spare parts availability for six years.
In what sizes is the Core Air available?
The Core Air is available in sizes 15 and 17 square meters. The larger 17 variant offers the strongest low-end and is the first choice for very light wind days.
