CORE's performance promise knows no wind limits – especially not below 15 knots. And that's exactly why there's now a new, highly advanced lightwind model, allowing us all to perform our sport at the highest level, even when the wind is weak. For ambitious freeriding, freestyling, or even serious Big Air – the Air Pro is ready.
The lightwind weapon for riders who are not willing to compromise, even when the wind does. With its lightweight, ultra-stiff Aluula airframe and small leading edge diameter, the Air Pro delivers maximum Big Air performance – in conditions where this was previously barely imaginable. Its extremely elongated shape gives it plenty of power, its 3-strut frame provides surprisingly playful handling even in this size, and its fixed bridle ensures an ultra-direct steering feel. This is the end of sluggish lightwind sessions – and the beginning of something entirely new.
Please note that the Air Pro may only be flown with the Sensor 4! Unlike the Sensor 3S and older Sensor models, ONLY the Sensor 4 with its new SFS+ Safety ensures a complete depower for models with fixed bridles.

Who is the Core Air Pro kite suitable for?
The Core Air Pro is aimed at ambitious riders who do not want to miss out on big air, lightwind freeride, and freestyle even in low wind. With its Aluula airframe and 3-strut design, it delivers power, hangtime, and agile handling – ideal for experienced kiters on lightwind days.
In which sizes is the Core Air Pro available?
The Core Air Pro is available in sizes 15 m² and 17 m². This covers a wide lightwind range and suits different rider weights as well as local conditions.
In what wind conditions can I ride the Core Air Pro?
The 15 m² Air Pro flies from around 8 knots, while the 17 m² version flies from as little as around 7 knots. Both sizes cover the classic lightwind range up to around 19–20 knots, ensuring maximum fun on seemingly windless days.
Which bar is compatible with the Core Air Pro?
The Air Pro is exclusively compatible with the Core Sensor 4, Sensor 4 Pro, Sensor 4S, and Sensor 4S Pro. Older bars such as the Sensor 3S are not approved for use with this kite due to its fixed bridle, as only the Sensor 4's SFS+ safety system guarantees a full depower.
What materials and features distinguish the Core Air Pro?
The Air Pro combines an ultra-rigid Aluula airframe with low-stretch CORETEX 2 fabric and a fixed Tectanium bridle with 14 attachment points. The 3-strut design, Speed Pump system, Grintex patches on the front tube and struts, and optimized lightwind profile ensure direct steering feel, stability, and durability.
How does the Core Air Pro relaunch work?
Thanks to the more tapered leading edge and reduced tip area, the Air Pro can be reliably relaunched with minimal effort even after a crash or water relaunch. This also makes it suitable for solo sessions at remote spots.
What is included in the delivery of the Core Air Pro?
The Air Pro is delivered with a comfortable kite backpack, an instruction manual, and a repair kit. A bar is not included and must be purchased separately – preferably the Sensor 4 or 4S.
How do you properly care for and store the Core Air Pro?
Rinse the kite with fresh water after saltwater sessions, let it dry completely, and store it in a dry place away from sunlight. You can repair minor damage yourself using the included repair kit. CORE also guarantees spare part availability for six years from the date of purchase.
