Duotone Eagle (Single) D/LAB 2026

With the EAGLE and the brand-new BLITZ, Duotone offers two new boards for the freeride >< freerace segment that cover everything from learning to plane to being the fastest surfer at your spot. The EAGLE and the BLITZ D/LAB CUSTOMIZED are the stiffest, lightest, and most planing-capable boards in their class. In fact, they are over a kilo lighter than other comparable boards.

1) EAGLE: IT'S ALL ABOUT PLANING

• Where you come from: You have had your first windsurfing experiences and can hold your own. There is no other board that can give you the feeling of planing in such a short time like the EAGLE. 
• Where it will take you: In addition to planing, jibe-turning is the EAGLE's second strength. But it is not only made for learning (power) jibe-turns, but will even accompany you up to freerace jibing and laydown jibe-turns.

2) BLITZ: MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE WITH MINIMUM EFFORT

• Where you come from: If you already feel comfortable in the foot straps, then the BLITZ is your performance board! 
• Where it will take you: The BLITZ will immediately make you a faster windsurfer. With playful handling on the rails, it will be your partner from the first power jibe-turns up to laydown race jibe-turns. In combination with a high-performance fin and a freerace sail, you could even become the fastest rider at your spot with the BLITZ, without having to give up the comfort of a freeride board.

 The EAGLE was developed with the following goals:

 > Early passive planing

 > Intuitive jibe-turning

 > Maximum wind range and control even in choppy conditions

 This makes the EAGLE the perfect intermediate to advanced board, which will accompany you from your first planing attempts up to jibing and laydown jibe-turns. 

The maneuver-oriented rail shape enables effortless and predictable jibe-turning, as the thin rails require less pressure to initiate the turn. This is ideal for jibe-turning beginners or to increase the success rate of laydown jibe-turns. 

But even for advanced riders, the EAGLE is anything but a boring board. It feels almost like a longer version of the BLITZ, as it has a very similar scoop rocker line.
