How much does the iBase 2.0 with iTendon weigh?

The iBase 2.0 + iTendon variant weighs a total of 260 g with a profile height of 70 mm. The pure iBase 2.0 Plate weighs only 110 g (24 mm) and is thus the lightest mast base in its class.

Can the iBase 2.0 be removed from the board without tools?

Yes, the iBase 2.0 features a practical release option. By simply pulling the sand-proof stainless steel U-pin, the connection joint can be removed without tools. This allows you to store the board with the screwed-on plate in the board bag and easily disconnect everything after the session even with tired hands.

What should you do if the iBase 2.0 sticks firmly to the board after long storage?

For this case, Duotone has integrated the Stuck Solution. Using two holes in the base, you can use a screwdriver as a lever and loosen the mast base effortlessly, even if it can no longer be unscrewed by hand.

Is the iBase 2.0 compatible with every mast extension?

The iTendon comes with a short Duotone pin and is compatible with common mast extensions. The variant with the joint uses the original Powerjoint with a long pin (M10 thread), which has been the standard for decades and can be connected to approx. 90% of all mast extensions on the market. Note: The long pin is not compatible with EPX.XT RDM 36.

What warranty does Duotone offer on the iBase 2.0?

Duotone offers a 2 Year Unconditional Warranty on the iBase 2.0, i.e., two years of unlimited warranty, provided you register the product online. No other manufacturer currently offers a comparable warranty promise on a mast base.
