The Duotone iTail Wave is the rear end piece (back-end) of the mast base on Duotone Wave mast bases. It connects the mast base tail with the rear mast adapter and ensures clean, play-free power transfer when wavesurfing.

Which mast bases is the iTail Wave suitable for?

The iTail Wave is suitable for the Duotone Wave mast base series equipped with the iTail system. It is designed as a replacement part to replace a damaged or worn original end piece 1:1.

What is included with the iTail Wave?

The delivery includes the iTail Wave end piece along with the screw and nut required for installation – you can screw the part directly onto the mast base with them.

How is the iTail Wave installed?

Remove the existing end piece at the rear of the mast base, place the iTail Wave on it, and secure it with the included screw and nut. It is recommended to tighten the screw and nut by hand using a suitable hex key or socket wrench.

Is the iTail Wave also suitable for other brands or models?

The iTail Wave is an original Duotone replacement part and is designed for the Duotone iTail system. It is generally not suitable for mast bases from other manufacturers or older series without an iTail mount.
