Duotone Mast-Fuselage Set Aero AL QM

FAQ

What is the Duotone Mast-Fuselage Set Aero AL QM?

The set combines your foil's mast and fuselage (body) using the Duotone Quickmount (QM) system. This allows both parts to be coupled together in seconds without tools – ideal for anyone who wants to set up foiling, wing foiling, windsurf foiling or SUP foiling with minimal effort.

How does the Quickmount system work?

You insert the mast into the pre-mounted base plate on the board and tighten it by hand. No tools are required. The base plate remains permanently in your desired position, so you are ready to go immediately next time.

Is the Aero AL QM set compatible with older Duotone foils?

According to the manufacturer, the set is designed for current Duotone foils and is also backward compatible with Fanatic wings and earlier foil generations. This means you can continue to use your existing front and back wings.

For which disciplines is the set suitable?

The Aero AL QM set is designed for all popular foil disciplines – from wing foiling to windsurf foiling, SUP foiling and prone foiling, and even kite foiling. The slim, stiff pocket fuselage ensures a direct, light riding experience.

Which mast lengths and fuselage lengths are available?

The set is offered in various combinations of mast length and fuselage length, so you can tailor it to your skill level, weight and local conditions. You can find the exact sizes in the selection directly on the product page.

How do I properly care for the mast and fuselage?

Rinse both parts with fresh water after every session, especially the Quickmount mount and the stainless steel threads. Allow them to dry before storing them away and protect them from direct sunlight – this will help the material and coating retain their function for longer.

Can I also use the fuselage with a Duotone carbon mast?

The QM system is designed for the Duotone Aero series. For which masts and fuselages can be combined, it is best to refer to the current Duotone compatibility overview or our advice in the shop.
