When we introduced the first version of the Ezzy Wave in 2020, our goal was to create a sail that offered both early planing and power for onshore conditions, as well as dynamic maneuverability and handling for side-shore wave riding.

Who is the Ezzy Wave sail suitable for?
The Ezzy Wave is a pure wave sail for ambitious wave riders who value a light, maneuverable, and yet powerful sail. It works both in onshore conditions with early take-offs and in side-shore wave riding with dynamic maneuvers and jumps.
In which sizes is the Ezzy Wave available?
The Ezzy Wave is available in twelve sizes from 2.8 to 6.3 square meters. This covers a wide wind spectrum, from light summer days to stormy wave conditions. This way, you will find the right size for every spot and every wind window.
How light is the Ezzy Wave compared to other wave sails?
The Ezzy Wave is one of the lightest wave sails on the market. The low weight ensures a more direct feel in handling, faster reactions in the jibe, and a lighter feel when ducking and rotating in the wave.
What does the calibrated rig setting on the Ezzy Wave mean?
Every Ezzy Wave is pre-calibrated at the factory. When rigging with the recommended Ezzy Ho'okipa mast, it is enough to tighten the downhaul until the bottom of the mast is at the desired mark on the sail scale. This way, the sail trim is set in seconds, without any trial and error.
Which mast is suitable for the Ezzy Wave?
The Ezzy Ho'okipa or Legacy masts in the respective suitable length are recommended. With the recommended mast, you utilize the full performance and benefit directly from the calibrated rig setting. In principle, many RDM and SDM masts from other brands can also be used.
How many battens does the Ezzy Wave have and what does that bring?
Most sizes of the Ezzy Wave are equipped with four battens, the two largest sizes have five battens. The four-batten construction ensures a light profile with fast depowering and clean rotation in maneuvers.
How robust is the Ezzy Wave in rough conditions?
The Ezzy Wave is designed for hard wave sessions. Reinforcements in stressed areas, the well-thought-out panel arrangement, and the careful workmanship make it resistant to rocks, reefs, and heavy shorebreak sessions. Ezzy produces completely in-house and tests every sail before delivery.
What is included with the purchase of the Ezzy Wave?
The scope of delivery includes the sail itself, matched to the selected size. The mast, boom, extension, and lines are to be selected separately, as they should be matched to your board, your riding level, and your area of use.
