What is the Goya Ultra Pro RDM 100% Carbon mast designed for?

The Goya Ultra Pro RDM is the first choice for foil, freestyle, freeride and racing – wherever minimal weight, quick reflexes and a balanced rig feel are essential. It is not designed for wave riding, surf breaks or shorebreaks and is not covered by the warranty in these conditions.

How light is the Goya Ultra Pro RDM 100% really?

The 400 mast weighs only 1.3 kg, making it the lightest mast Goya has ever built. In total, the available lengths weigh between 1.0 kg (340 cm) and 2.0 kg (490 cm) – you will feel the difference immediately when rigging up and on the water.

In which lengths is the Ultra Pro RDM available?

The Goya Ultra Pro RDM 100% Carbon is available in six lengths: 340, 370, 400, 430, 460 and 490 cm. This way, you will find the right length for every sail size and application.

What does 100% carbon mean and what advantages does it offer?

The Ultra Pro RDM consists of 100% Toray prepreg carbon – the premium standard in the composite sector. The result is the typical Goya direct-drive characteristic: quick, clean reflexes and excellent control when loading and unloading the mast. The higher the carbon content, the lighter, more responsive and direct your entire rig will feel.

Is the Goya Ultra Pro RDM compatible with other Goya masts?

Yes, the Ultra Pro RDM is fully interchangeable with the Goya Hundred Pro, Eighty Pro, Seventy Pro and Fifty Pro masts – across all lengths and carbon contents. The bend curve (Constant Curve) is identical across the entire Goya RDM range, so your sail will shape and rotate correctly on any Goya RDM mast. Only exception: the Ninety Pro is only interchangeable within its own lengths.

What special features does the Ultra Pro RDM have?

The mast comes with Diagonal Flex technology, which ensures lively, controlled bending and torsional behavior. The sections are of equal length for easy handling, the boom area is equipped with Peel Ply anti-slip so that the mast does not slip, and the precise ferrules prevent sand-lock. The mast is delivered in a custom-made, padded mast bag.

How do I properly care for and transport the Goya Ultra Pro RDM?

Always handle the mast with care and avoid contact with sharp edges or hard surfaces. Transport it in the included padded mast bag to protect the surface. After use in salt water, rinse the mast with fresh water, let it dry before storing it, and regularly check the connections for sand and wear.
