What does the Curv hard-shell construction mean for this harness?

The partially pre-shaped Curv shell provides strong support in the back area and distributes the pulling forces evenly across the harness. At the same time, the side panels remain flexible enough to give you full freedom of movement for maneuvers and turns.

Which spreader bar is included with the ION Radium Team Series?

The new ION Spectre Bar, including an aluminum windsurfing hook, is included in the delivery. It impresses with a particularly slim profile, low weight, and direct, precise power transfer – perfectly matched to the high profile of the harness.

How do I find the right size for my Radium Team Series?

What padding provides comfort on the water?

Inside the harness, the water-resistant Hyper_Foam works, which does not absorb water even after long sessions. EVA pads on the inside prevent the harness from slipping, thus ensuring a secure hold and comfort.

Is the harness also usable for kitesurfing or wing foiling?

The ION Radium Team Series is primarily designed as a windsurfing harness and is delivered with an aluminum windsurfing hook. For pure kitesurfing, ION offers the Riot Team Series with a kite hook – please choose the harness suitable for your area of use.

How do I properly care for and store my ION harness?

Rinse the harness with fresh water after every session and let it air dry in the shade – direct sunlight damages the material over time. Store it dry and flat so that the Curv shell retains its shape.

What is included in the delivery of the ION Radium Team Series?

The harness includes the Spectre Bar with aluminum hook, the integrated Kite_Knife Multitool 2.0, as well as the interchangeable Ergo-Pads in two profiles. This means you have everything you need to go straight onto the water and fine-tune the fit.
