Fastest Gliding Outline of any KT Board
The newly launched Ginxu Dragonfly Crossing Pro Carbon is designed for open ocean crossings and softer, rounder rolling swell conditions. It is longer and narrower, featuring a repositioned Step Bottom (patented) and a full displacement front. The Crossing offers the fastest gliding outline of any KT board. With a newly designed, revolutionary volume flow, the fuller nose prevents the nose from diving in tight swells, while maintaining a neutral, balanced volume distribution throughout the board's length. The characteristic Dragonfly Kick-Tail provides clearance and carving, while the more inset deck offers increased balance and a controlled, direct deck feel. All of this ensures superior paddling speed, meaning ocean crossings and paddle-ups in flatter waters are, in a word, effortless.
Available in 88, 94, 100, 106, 112, and 120-liter sizes.
FAQ
FAQ
FAQ
Who is the KT Ginxu Dragonfly Crossing Pro Carbon designed for?
The board was specially designed for open ocean crossings and downwinders, and is aimed at advanced riders who want to cover long distances on the water with a wing or SUP.
What advantages does the full-displacement nose offer?
The fuller nose reliably prevents pearling in tight swell and ensures maximum glide performance – ideal for making ocean crossings and paddle-ups as effortless as possible.
What board sizes are available?
The KT Ginxu Dragonfly Crossing Pro Carbon is available in volumes of 88, 94, 100, 106, 112, and 120 liters, so that the right size is available for different skill levels and applications.
What does the patented step bottom stand for?
The newly positioned, patented step bottom creates a revolutionary volume flow. As a result, the board gets up to speed particularly quickly and remains stable and efficient even in soft, round rolling sea conditions.
What makes the Dragonfly kick-tail special?
The characteristic Dragonfly kick-tail offers additional clearance and enables snappy carving turns without the board tail unintentionally touching the water when foiling or pumping.
For which wave and water conditions is the board optimized?
The long and narrow outline is designed for softer, round rolling sea conditions and shallower waters – perfect for classic downwinders and ocean-crossing routes.
How is the volume distribution of the board designed?
The board features a neutral, balanced volume distribution over its entire length, combined with a more inset deck. The result is more balance and a controlled, direct deck feel.
What applications are possible besides classic ocean crossings?
Thanks to its high glide speed and balanced outline, the Crossing Pro Carbon is also very well suited for fast wing foil sessions in choppy water as well as long SUP downwinders along the coast.
