In which sizes is the Instinct Front Wing available?

The KT Instinct Front Wing is available in six sizes from 720 to 2200 cm². This range covers everything – from light entry-level and light-wind setups to sporty sizes for more speed and stronger wind.

Which size is right for my riding level and area?

Larger wings with a high surface area offer early lift, low minimum speed, and maximum stability – perfect for light wind, first sessions, and SUP paddle-ups. Smaller sizes respond faster, deliver more speed, and are suitable for advanced riders and stronger wind areas.

What material is the Instinct Front Wing made of?

The front wing is made of high-quality carbon construction with a satin carbon finish and a lightweight foam core under the carbon laminate. This results in a stiff, direct, and at the same time lightweight component that runs precisely and smoothly in the water.

Which back wings and components is the Instinct compatible with?

The Instinct Front Wing is part of the KT Foiling System and is compatible with all KT Foiling components. The recommended back wings are the Nomad 190 and Nomad 250. Matching mounting hardware made of 316 stainless steel is available separately.

For which applications is the front wing intended?

The Instinct is suitable for wing foiling, surf foiling, tow foiling, as well as foil assist and eFoiling. Thanks to its forgiving, stable characteristics, it is fun both when learning and when cruising casually and making your first carving turns.

What is included in the delivery?

The delivery includes the KT Instinct Front Wing in the selected size as well as a suitable protective bag for transport and storage. Mast, fuselage, and back wing are available separately.

How do I properly care for and transport the carbon front wing?

Carbon is stiff and light, but reacts sensitively to hard contact with the ground. Always make sure there is sufficient water depth when getting in and out, and rinse the wing in fresh water after sessions in salt water. For storage and transport, use the included protective bag to protect the sensitive surface from scratches.
