The KT Nomad Wing Set is designed for wing foilers, surf foilers, and wake foilers looking for a versatile, carve-oriented foil with a wide speed range – from relaxed cruising to fast turns.

What conditions is the Nomad foil designed for?

Thanks to the high-camber airfoil, the Nomad delivers an agile, predictable flight feel with early lift characteristics in both small and large waves, onshore and sideshore winds, and even flat water.

What makes the Nomad's high-camber airfoil special?

The rear-loaded high-camber airfoil ensures early lift-off, efficient pumping, and high stall resistance – enabling take-off at low speeds while keeping the foil stable even at high speeds.

What components are included in the Nomad Wing Set?

The set consists of a front wing, back wing, fuselage (63 cm), and 85 cm mast. Screws, tools, and matching foil covers with Velcro fasteners are also included.

How big is the mast of the Nomad Wing Set?

The carbon mast is 85 cm long, has a wall thickness of 15.5 mm, and weighs approx. 1.7 kg. It attaches to the board using Torx screws (M8).

What sizes are available for the KT Nomad Wing Set?

The set is available in three configurations: FW830 with BW155, FW980 with BW190, and FW1160 with BW190 – all with the 63 cm fuselage and 85 cm mast.

Is the KT Nomad Wing Set compatible with other KT foils?

Yes, the system is modular. However, KT recommends not combining front wings larger than 1000 cm² with the smallest back wings (Nomad 155 or Atlas 145) to ensure pitch-stable handling.

How do you properly care for the KT Nomad foil?

Rinse the foil with fresh water after every session, dry it, and use the included covers to protect the wings. Regularly check that the Torx screws are securely tightened and tighten them if necessary.
