FAQ
For which disciplines is the KT Super K 2 Drive Pro Carbon suitable?
The KT Super K 2 Drive Pro Carbon is a true multi-discipline board and is suitable for wing foiling, parawing, prone foiling, foil assist, wing racing, and, in the larger volumes, also for SUP foiling.
What distinguishes the Pro Carbon construction from the standard carbon layup?
The Pro Carbon layup is KT's most advanced full-core construction: an extra-light EPS core is enclosed in a multi-layered, high-density carbon shell with biaxial and unidirectional carbon. The result is maximum stiffness, high impact resistance, and approximately 20% less weight compared to the standard carbon version.
Which features make the board suitable for foil assist?
Fiberglass windows are integrated into the board, which are tuned to 2.4 GHz and thus enable uninterrupted connectivity to Foil Assist systems.
In which sizes is the KT Super K 2 Drive Pro Carbon available?
The board is available in several volume levels to accommodate different rider weights, skill levels, and areas of use. The available sizes range from compact volumes for experienced riders to large volumes for heavier riders and SUP use.
For which rider level is the board designed?
The Super K 2 Drive Pro Carbon is aimed at advanced and ambitious foilers looking for a light, direct, and versatile midlength. Due to its moderate width and slim outline, it is less stable than classic training boards, but offers more speed, glide, and responsiveness.
How do I mount my foil on the board?
The board features a longer foil track that is compatible with common foil systems. This allows the foil position to be fine-tuned and the setup optimally adjusted to weight, foil, and purpose.
How do I properly care for and transport the board?
Rinse the board with fresh water after every use, avoid direct sunlight in the car, and protect it during transport with a suitable board bag. Before long-distance flights or during long-term storage, it is recommended to open the vent plug so that residual moisture can escape.
How does the weight compare to other midlength boards?
Thanks to the Pro Carbon layup, the Super K 2 Drive Pro Carbon weighs significantly less than comparable boards with standard construction. The low weight ensures more direct feedback, earlier planing, and a more agile riding experience, both when pumping and in the air.
