The KT Wing Drifter is a versatile wingboard that, according to shaper Keith Teboul, is equally suitable for beginners and advanced riders. The voluminous, compact shape provides stability when paddling, starting, and in the air, while the construction remains maneuverable and responsive in flight.
What construction does the KT Wing Drifter have?
The board is made with an Ultra Carbon Monocoque construction – an ultralight and very stiff EPS/carbon sandwich with a reinforced carbon exoskeleton. This makes it light, balanced, and responsive without twisting.
Which fin boxes and foil fit the board?
The KT Wing Drifter features 10.75-inch Futures fin boxes. It is supplied without a foil but can be easily combined with standard wing foils thanks to the additional wing mounting options.
How does the board handle on the water when foiling?
The KT Surfing Signature quad concave bottom with tapered rails ensures a particularly smooth take-off and quick release when foiling. The rail shape with tuck supports quick paddling and an easy take-off, even in smaller sizes.
