Neilpryde Combat HD LTD 2026

FAQ

What makes the Limited Edition of the NeilPryde Combat HD 2026 special?

The Combat HD LTD is a strictly limited edition of the award-winning wave sail. It comes in a unique colorway and is already equipped with the advanced 2026 panel layout—including new features that provide more low-end power without compromising the legendary control in high winds.

What conditions is the Combat HD LTD 2026 suitable for?

The sail is designed as a classic wave sail and is suitable for all-round wave riding, from flat-water conditions to choppy wave spots. With 4 battens and the HD setup, it offers balanced power, easy handling, and high durability.

What sizes is the Combat HD LTD 2026 available in?

The Limited Edition is available in 8 sizes from 3.3 m² to 5.3 m², making it possible to find the right sail for almost any wind strength and rider weight. The RRP ranges from 699 euros to 869 euros, depending on the size.

What construction and materials does the Combat HD LTD feature?

The LTD version is based on the proven HD construction: black Ultra-PE Triax top panels, Ultra-PE in the luff, leech, and head areas, Ripstop Taffeta X-Ply laminate, and an Ultra-PE X-Ply window. The tack and clew are reinforced with Power HD Technology, ensuring direct load paths and exceptional sail durability.

What improvements does the 2026 panel layout offer?

For 2026, NeilPryde has focused on providing more low-end power without weakening performance in high winds. A slimmer batten above the boom allows the sail to fill faster in light winds and provides noticeably more power in marginal conditions. The proven higher-aspect design with a longer luff, narrower boom, and larger head remains unchanged.

How does the Combat HD LTD differ from the standard Combat HD 2026?

The LTD edition shares the technical 2026 panel layout and HD construction with the regular Combat HD but comes in an exclusive, limited colorway (purple) and at a special price. The number of units is strictly limited.

What mast and fork dimensions are recommended for the Combat HD LTD?

For the Combat series, NeilPryde recommends RDM masts with 100 percent or 75 percent carbon content. The respective mast and fork lengths vary depending on the sail size—you can find the correct values in the size chart on the NeilPryde product page.

Is the Combat HD LTD also suitable for beginners?

The Combat series is primarily aimed at advanced riders and World Cup team riders looking for a lightweight, responsive wave sail. Advanced hobby sailors who regularly ride waves or sail in high winds also benefit from its balanced performance.
