Description
Description
The Speedster remains true to its 2025 shape. With a sporty, cam-free design that delivers razor-sharp freerace performance with effortless handling. For 2026, the Speedster continues to set the benchmark in speed and ease of use without compromise. Additionally, Ultra PE X-Ply has been integrated into the foot and clew area, increasing durability while saving weight.
Its shape is based on our RS:Racing Slalom sails and features a medium luff curve for stability and maximum wind range. Easier to trim, lighter waterstarts and tacks than with a pure slalom sail, but almost as fast. So you'll leave your friends behind!
Designed for fin, but equally impressive on foil!

FAQ
What makes the Neilpryde Speedster 2026 a freerace sail?
The Neilpryde Speedster 2026 is a cam-free freerace sail that combines the sleek outline of the RS:Racing Slalom sails with effortless handling. It delivers razor-sharp race performance while remaining significantly easier to trim, waterstart, and jibe than a pure slalom sail.
What is the Speedster 2026 best suited for?
The sail is primarily designed for use with a fin and performs just as impressively on a foil. This makes it perfect for ambitious freeracers and sporty freeriders who want to combine maximum speed with high control.
In what sizes is the Neilpryde Speedster 2026 available?
The Speedster 2026 is available in seven sizes from 5.2 m² to 8.2 m², covering a wide range of wind conditions. This means you'll find the right sail for almost any wind strength at the spot.
What design features does the Speedster 2026 have?
The sail features a 7-batten layout that ensures high stability, speed, and control—even when you get overpowered. The medium-strong forward curve provides stability and maximum wind range.
What materials are used in the Speedster 2026?
For 2026, Ultra PE X-Ply has been incorporated into the foot and sheet horn area, significantly increasing durability while saving weight. In addition, Airflow Tubular Battens from the world of slalom racing provide less drag and more speed.
How is the Speedster 2026 best trimmed and used?
Thanks to its light, stable profile, the sail is easy to rig, effortless to waterstart, and comfortable to jibe. The Continuous X-Ply luff provides high seam strength in the heavily loaded forward section, ensuring a direct, responsive feel.
Who is the Neilpryde Speedster 2026 worth buying for?
The sail is aimed at sporty windsurfers who want to enjoy race speed but do not want to compromise on the comfort of a cam-free design. It is ideal for anyone who wants to really push the limits on lakes, high-wind conditions, or while foiling.
Is the Speedster 2026 compatible with conventional masts?
Depending on the size, the Speedster 2026 is designed for different mast lengths and diameters (RDM or SDM). You can find the ideal mast length for each size and suitable alternatives in the size chart for the respective sail size.
