Neoprene Beanie PLT

FAQ

What is the ProLimit Neoprene Beanie PLT designed for?

The ProLimit Neoprene Beanie PLT protects your head in cold and windy conditions on the water. It is equally suitable for kitesurfing, windsurfing, wing foiling, surfing, and SUP.

What material is the beanie made of and how thick is it?

The beanie is made of flexible and insulating Airflex 500 Limestone Neoprene and is 2 mm thick. The double interior coating provides additional warmth and a pleasant feel on the skin.

How are the seams of the PLT beanie finished?

The seams are GBS-finished (Glued & Blind Stitched), meaning they are glued and blind-stitched. This allows significantly less water to penetrate and keeps the beanie reliably watertight even during longer sessions in cold water.

What is the small loop on the beanie for?

The extra-long loop (Bungee Loop) is used to attach the beanie to the wetsuit. This prevents you from losing it after a fall or when changing out of it and keeps it within easy reach at all times.

Which size is right for me?

The ProLimit Neoprene Beanie PLT is available in sizes S to XL. Measure your head circumference at forehead level and choose the appropriate size from the manufacturer's chart: S (55-57 cm), M (56.5-58.5 cm), L (58-60 cm), XL (59.5-61.5 cm).

Is the beanie suitable for women and men?

Yes, the ProLimit Neoprene Beanie PLT features a unisex design and can be worn by all water sports enthusiasts.

How do I properly care for the neoprene beanie?

Rinse the beanie in clear fresh water after every session in salt water and let it dry in the shade. This helps the neoprene retain its elasticity for a long time and keeps the GBS seams watertight.
